Designed for landowners needing a portable wood chipper, the TFG55 GAS is a new addition to our long-standing wood-chipper lineup. It features proven tech and durability carried over from our existing tractor-driven products.

In a quest to make the TFG55 GAS the most well-rounded product in its class, we challenged our engineering team to balance branch size capacity and in-feeding rate while maintaining smooth, consistent feeding.

Two years of R&D, countless prototypes, and in-field testing hours resulted in our new gravity-assist in-feed system. This system uniquely combines a steep-angled in-feed chute with a high-torque, slow-speed, three-bladed flywheel. Coupled with our patented twin flywheel technology, it ensures that lightweight and leafy materials won’t impact productivity.

The powerful 14 HP Kohler Command PRO electric start engine was chosen as the power source, allowing continuous chipping of branches up to 3 inches in diameter. The 5” x 5” (13 cm x 13 cm) in-feed opening also allows for branches with bends, Y-sections, or even bundles of smaller branches to be chipped consistently.

Please be aware that our products are made specifically for the Australia market. This means that they require a 240V electrical system to function correctly.
